Anyone have an aftermarket shifter that has NO rattle?
I'll probably do an MGW but I really like the Core shifter with old school straight HURST stick and ball.
Anyone tried either and can give an unbiased review?

Impressive, I may just have to consider one more seriously. In my last car I tested just about every brand of shifter, shifter bushing, etc. available until I came up with what I felt to be the ideal package.

I think I'll get the MGW flat shifter. I can make the Hurst stick fit that with a little work.

Thanks guys.
I have the Core Shifters Hurst shifter in my Stingray. I had it in my C5 and transferred it to the C7, and I like it better that any others I have tried. The main reason I went with it though is because of the old school Hurst stick, and it has Hurst internals.
The modified MGW shifter may end up being taller with the Hurst stick because of the way it attaches to the base.
The shortest Hurst stick is slightly curved (10 degrees), but you cannot tell it when the shifter is installed.
I personally do not like the rectangular stick on the MGW. It is just not the same as the old style.
I also do not like the open box design of the MGW, and the Core Shifter uses the enclosed stock box.
The Core Shifters base is also machined so it fits the rubber closeout boot perfectly.

I put a Hurst shifter in my '57 Chevy in 1962 and it rattled. lol
I put a Hurst shifter on a 396/M22 set up in my '57 Chevy in 1977 and it didn't clear the bench seat so good. But the car came with an auto anyway so it wasn't Hurst's fault. lol
I cannot believe you would want the look of that hurst stick over OUR cnc machined flat stick....
much better looking in my opinion!!!
The answer to that most likely depends on how old you are?
Hurst shifters became legendary in the 1960's.
If you cannot have the whole car you had in high school, at least you can have part of it!

George,
I had a MGW in my Z06 and loved it. I originally had a Hurst installed, but it rattled so much I had it replaced and the mechanic suggested the MGW.
The photos you posted show what an outstanding product you manufacture!
What is the cost and availability?
