Default aFe & Diablo tuner

Hi Everyone. I just brought home my new Yellow C7 Z51 Coupe from the dealer a month ago and i've stored in for the winter. I'm getting a inch to start putting performance parts on. With only 23kms on it is it safe to install an AFE intake and turner or should I wait till after the break in period. I just dont know if I will last till the spring Thanks

You can install the intake now, but I'd personally wait until the 500 mile mark to flash the Diablo so the stock ECU can get through it's break-in procedure.

That works too, both the X-pipe (Borla and Corsa) and AFE intake are stock tune compatible. Once the car is out from storage you'll be able to click off 500 in no time

Personally, I would do it.
The tune is not adding any extra strain to the motor, and we tuned one here with less than 500 miles, and its still running great!
