Tuning question.
If I were to get my car tuned, say using hptuners, is there any way to revert the car back to stock so that the dealer wouldn't know it was previously tuned?

I use the InTune, and do have a custom tune on it from DiabLew (MonteSS on this forum). The tunes are the same between the InTune and Trinity, it's just the extra features that set them apart. I personally wanted the smaller size rather than the extra features.

It sort of depends on your intended future mods---If you are going to leave it basically stock then a handheld should be OK---Diablo is the best of the handhelds
The next level of tuning is with HP or EFILIVE --Difference being that even Diablo has limited access to ALL the tables in your tune which need addressing with major mods
HP Or EFILVE has access to approx. 450 tables in the engine file and about 500 in the trans file----Hyper. or Superchps maybe 50 tables and Diablo has the most-of the handhelds ----

The issue with tuning the new E92 GM computers is that it has been reported that after tuning with some handhelds and even HP/EFILIVE that the tune will change the "checksums" in your stock tune- Most dealers and smog shops don't even know what checksums are and they are overlooked--As of today I believe that that issue has been resolved by the tuning software companies so really a non issue anymore--
