SUCCESS!!! For any of you on the fence about where to go with mods and still have a warranty, this is your ticket. For under $2,000 you can really wake up your Stingray. Stock, I was a little bored, even whining to the wife about the performance of my 2014 Z51 M7.

So, added an AFE, Ported TB, Corsa X-pipe, and Diablo 93 AFE Intune. Car sounded better, performed better, and pulled much better then stock.

Next, I did the required logging required by Diablew so he could work his magic, and in less the 24 hours had a new tune sitting in my in box. Loaded it into the car Friday, and BAM, another big step forward. Tip in instant, and never stops pulling. 1st and 2nd are an absolute blast, and where as before 3rd gear felt a little sluggish, it now pulls hard all the way to 4th.

And the Corsa double X pipe really adds some noise, in a good way. My car is NPP, and it sounds really aggressive.

I was looking at Centri and h/c packages, but struggled with throwing a brand new warranty out the window. Now with some simple bolt ons you can go to the next level and keep your warranty...

This thread would be better with static technical specs instead of speculative seat of the pants dyno results. We all know those mods will increase responsiveness and horsepower overall, but most want to see dyno results or some back to back timed runs as indirect improvement levels good choice on the mods.

Thanks Kracka, learned a lot from your threads. Temped to do the ported and coated exhaust manifolds, and maybe a intake too!

Sounds good! I'll be selling my Fasterproms ported intake manifold soon, and have some stock exhaust manifolds available if you need them for porting.

Wish there were some dyno numbers to go with it! I hear diablo tunes are really felt because the throttle progression is much higher.

and how does the x pipe install? is there a stock xpipe there? H pipe? cats can stay in place?

Factory X-pipe has a second set of cats at the front of the pipe. Corsa's don't so you have a nice straight 3" pipe with double helix (it has 2 X sections). You pick up a little bit of flow, but some deeper tone and louder. I have NPP with the fuse #41 pulled, and it sounds REALLY good!

No dyno time, but my ricer math says this package is probably 40 hp and 35 tq

Throttle progression doesn't matter once the pedal is mashed, I personally kept mine at 0% increase

OP, since you dont have access to a dyno, you should try the 40-100 mph test timer in performance mode. As a baseline you will see most stock c7s run it in about 6 seconds flat.

That way you can see if the mods improved your accerlation over stock.

Would be very interested to see your results/time!

It's a shame lew doesn't do FI, want a tune done for headers, would be nice to update it in a few months when FI gets bolted in, seems like not too many do tunes thru Diablo

Great idea, that should tell a lot. Weather has dropped cold again in Minnesota so might be a few days before I can get her out on the road again... Will report back when I get this done...
