Default Infotainment Screen Blank

Hey guys any help would be appreciated.

I bought my c7 1LT corvette in November 2nd hand with 4600kms on it. Garaged over the winter no issues and now has 7200 kms on it.

3 weeks ago my I turned the car off as usual and went about my business. I then went to turn it back on and the infotainment screen wouldnt boot up. Blank screen and no audio working whatsoever.

The center screen works great - the RPM meter works alongn with the speedometer and the entire instrument panel. Along with heating, cooling and interior lighting.

It spontaneously fixed itself that time and has been great since until yesterday. It occured again and the infotainment and speakers have been dead since yesterday. I have an appt with the dealer on this coming wednesday. Any ideas about what could be wrong with my car?

Thanks

my 2014 z51 2lt had the same issue, when I was at carlisle last year the corvette engineers on site told me there were issues with some of the infotainment screens going blank, they told me to bring it back to dealer and they would replace the system, well the dealer did a software upgrade to the system and would not replace the screen unless it did it again. I haven't had any issues since but I very rarely drive the car.

Thanks for your response. I just took it into the shop early yesterday morning and it turns out the electronic amplifier is fried and that needs to be replaced. They kept my car over the night and probably will another night by the sounds of it. They are ordering the part and flying it out here to Canada to replace it. They said it was vital piece in the ring circuit.

All covered by warranty which is nice.... Got a 2015 ATS AWD 3.6 In the mean time

My '14 is at the dealer today. Since I bought it (January, used) every 15 to 30 minutes the display does a full reset. It blanks for twenty seconds, and then waits a few seconds to get station info, and then my iPhone.

The radio is unaffected (but no volume control during the reset) but if playing from other media, that stops, and then restarts at an earlier location.

The dealer called and said there is a major software upgrade, with three pages of what is fixed, including my issue. I'll ask for a copy of that when I get the car back.
