true

i feel like i am triggering reduced power mode, just dont now what criteria to look at at the 0mph or vs tps, and if it is driver demand related or maximum torque related.

going to try to capture it on a scan next few days fingers crossed.

yes what you saw was prior to the re-tune and of course it picked up power and drives around better but same issue on launch.

here's a dumb question and one that might have been asked.....you are turning off traction control and stability control?

I would think it's maximum tq related, I mean WOT is WOT so driver input should be the same on your car as mine, the difference is the fuel delivery and spark and the ECU is probably calculating that the torque produced exceeds the targeted value (whatever the max is at WOT) and closing the throttle body to try to get back down to that max torque value.

I'm not a tuner I don't know spit so don't listen to me

It's not Max Torque or Driver Demand related, I have seen his tune.

One would almost just have to be there or drive the car or log the appropriate things to duplicate the symptom.

Hope you get it figured out. You need to seek a known good tuner
on C7's
who can dyno tune the car and get it right. It did this same symptom's. On the street it would fall on it's face when pressed for power then pick back up.
Right after I had the kit put on then. Straightened out on it own
after a week. Just got more and more better until I had it full rpm back then it never did it again. But esp since you have added long tubes and a meth kit you should get it to a known pro shop there are many.
Best of luck!

In that video it was a BFG drag radial. Hoosiers will work way better though. Just used them bc they were on the rims already.

Like everyone else said, it's the tune. I will tell you there are certain settings on the c6 that are normally changed that when done on the c7 do this exact throttle killing stuff. Took me a bit of testing on my own c7 to figure out the exact settings. So, against the wife's wishes, I'm glad I bought my c7 to tinker lol.

Good luck.

despite the muggy conditions i was able to get a new best ET and 60' after disabling 'powerhop' and 'oil starve' under engine / tq management / general. disable at your own risk. I have a feeling it was just the powerhop one but whatever at this point, someone else can feel free to isolate further.

thanks goes to Higgs Boson for the pointers.

if the problem rears its head again on future track visit ill be sure to update.

Were you tuning for power with the Meth or just using it for safety?
