Hello. My first post. I have a 2015 z51 c7. I just had an East Coast SC installed. I also installed the American racing headers and meth injection. After 3 1/2 weeks of waiting for my kit from ecs they sent a banged up pulley and one of the shrouds was broken. After 4 or 5 days i got the new pulley to find out it was the large one. We installed it waiting for correct part, of course the hp will go up. Anyway, I immediately got a p2227 code barometric pressure issue... The shop is all over it and I have confidence in them, but nature forces me to help track down the problem. Any advice of where to start?

Let the shop due their thing, it's a very quick fix. Sorry UPS paid kick ball with your kit. We do our best to package them very thoroughly, but even with that once in a while they still get us.
I'll probably get in trouble for saying this but here goes. The smaller
3 1/2" MAF tube requires that the MAF be scaled back to compensate. This lowers the torque value that the computer sees and changes how the transmission shifts.
It's kind of like the earlier C6 A6 cars that had to be scaled back in order to compensate for the 63# injector hard limit. The trans pressures etc. had to be upped to make up for it.
A guess, but an educated guess.
Yes sir, they adjusted maf among other things. Guy tuning it wasn't explaining to me. I had to catch info thru over hearing their discussion.
It made 640hp but has a hickup/cough when I pin it to the floor. It hickup and surges intermittently. Sometimes going lean, I saw 16, and hp was like it hit a wall.
hate to say it, but I would be looking for a tuner that has done several boosted tunes, they are not easy to tune when NA properly, boosted makes it even more difficult.

We sized our MAF tube that way for a specific reason, that reason being consistent MAF readings. Which is the reason why we have sold several of our MAF tubes TO YOUR CUSTOMERS.
OP, I'm a little concerned about the tuning of your vehicle.

Doug, are you responding to my issue or reponding to sycrafts comment.
I'd really like to get my car smoothed out. Do I need a new maf tube?
Ray
Ray you don't need a new MAF Tube, you really need another tuner since no one has come right out and said this. If your tuner doesn't know (or wasn't aware of a simple table that turns off a specific parameter to stop a code that would of been a major red flag. You really need to find someone that is well versed in tuning a FI car as well as an NA one. Where are you located? As I'm sure that there is a reputable tuner nearby that you can take your car to.
I just would hate to see all the money you spent (and then some) go out the window due to bad tuning.
