That's great! I have a 4.3 also but haven't had much luck using/learning the launch control. Have you tried the launch control with the 0-60 timer? I tried doing it as told at Ron Fellows but it doesn't hold at 2800, it tries to break traction and the counter starts. Do you think you can get to the 3.8 that they say it will with the Z51 pkg?

Just put it in track, push the center button twice, role up to the light then inch up slow until the second light goes on then press the brake down hard, then push the gas to the floor and hold it and let off the brake after the tree hit the last light. You well have to get accustom to the lights so you do not red light. You should be able to get low 12's with the launch control, don't know what others get but maybe better. You should read-up about in the owners manual. If you do it correctly it function's fine but you won't give your best times with it. With Drag radials you should be able to shave off about 4th or maybe more.
I' have the same car---I have tried the 0-60 using the launch control---It is more consistent however not the fastest----It takes lots of practice to get low numbers without the launch control as you are either spinning too much or not enough---
My best time after many practice runs on different days I finally broke into the 3's
THEN after the E85 conversion I was amazed with the same tune with a best 3.6 and an average always about 3.9----on stock tires !!!!
