I understand that the C7 does drain battery power, and I have a resolution for that problem. My question is how can I bypass the 15 min timer for the audio for the Bose Infosytem that the BCM controls? From the wiring diagram I was able to see from the dealership, both the infosystem and amplifier go threw the BCM. Any answers!!
As of now, there is still no direct BCM communication available to modify those parameters.
You'd also have to deal with the global battery off timer, as you mentioned. The power-saving feature would most likely need to be disabled entirely, unless by chance the table actually had a delay parameter.
With MDIs and the global platform (GDS2/SPS) taking over, it's becoming increasingly more difficult, expensive, and time consuming to get a foothold into these BCMs.
The best that can be done at the moment are single-subsystem injections, but I know of nothing that could properly do what you're wanting.
