Default C7 Belly Plate with Headers / X Pipe

As some may have issues with clearance after installing headers or X- Pipes, Texas Speed has come out with their new belly plate allowing additional collector room and clearance in the center to accommodate larger pipes and cats if desired. It is a quality piece that I picked up today. I will install later in the week when I return home. No more shimming or bending to get the OEM plate to fit. They offer it in Aluminum and powder coated Black.

I thought that was leaning on the Corvette at first and nearly crapped a brick.

I just bought one of those over the weekend! Nice truck.
I'm thinking of taking the blower off my Z06 and putting it on the truck when I do the YSi on the Z. That sure will be different.

Looks great! Can't wait to see it installed. TSP headers are first on the list as soon as my car is paid off!

installed today, did it in garage so no pics. It fit perfect and gave plenty of clearance. I can now reach the front O2 without pulling the pan if needed. My OE pan did rub in 2 small areas even shimmed down, so this will be a nice change

appears to be the same thickness, pricing depends on powdercoating or not, I think they start at 100 to 125 with purchase of their exhaust, not sure of outright purchase. Call Texas Speed to confirm.

Glad you like it! We still offer spacers for people looking to save $$, but as you can imagine the plate is priced very aggressively so you guys can run it & keep a near OEM look!!

Guys I forgot to mention the plate is stock thickness. Its main goal is to provide clearance for the longer primaries & collectors. Notice how the TSP headers have the longest primaries on that market. This helps torque production but also requires a spacer or different plate.

Do you make both 1-3/4" and 1-7/8" primaries? I plan to keep the motor stock and no blower.
