Default PLX gauge module... Where did you put yours

Anyone here running PLX gauges? Where you put the modules at? I am assuming under the dash and how did you secure it?

There is a decent amount of potential space between the driver's door frame and the area behind the dash.

All of my gauge and other wiring and control boxes are either in that area, or in the space leading down the side of the frame by the driver's left knee/foot (behind the kick panel).

That is good to know for sure. Thanks man. I'll make sure check those place out.

Btw, I looked at the wideband plug that goes to the module. It is pretty big. I think I will need to remove pins out of plug and feed the wires through the fire wall then reinstall the plug... Shouldn't be that big of deal.
But on the ignition 12v source... Did you tap off something under dash or you get it from fuse box in the back?

I have 2 of the smaller modules that connect to DM6s and the larger module that connects to the DM100 all mounted up under the drivers dash. I have the 2 smaller units together farther towards the fire wall and the larger module for the DM100 in a space closer to the driver. They fit nicely up there.

I ran a power wire from the battery up to the area and it powers my gauges and my radar detector.

I am having an issue with my DM100 though. It turns on ok and reads all of the parameters but after about 20 seconds of so all of the readouts start saying NA one by one. If I flip to the next page all of the readings are there but within 30 seconds or less they all real NA again. Waiting for tech support to get back to me.

Cool on the locations, but weird on the data reading deal. almost sound like it stop update the parameter anymore... who know. keep us update when PLX get back to you.
