Z51 tow hook grill snap out

Z51 tow hook grill snap out

I want to let the Z51 guys know that the 2x6 inch section of grill snap's out to insert our front tow hook, unlike the ZO6 grill does not snap out.

That is correct. I don't think you can use any hook on the z51 without taking this out, or cutting up the grill

Is there a fitting to accept a tow hook behind the Z51 grill?

Thanks for the pic, yes most Z51 have the receivers, some early ones do not. We make receivers for all C7 corvettes. No tow hook will fit on the front of a Z51 unless you remove insert.

Well... Actually mine fits just fine in my 2014 with the grill insert in place.

Not sure how yours fit. Looks like the same hook I have from Phoenix and without seriously scratching up the insert to get the threads to push through it ain't fitting. You must have got an insert with loose tolerances! 😄
