5th Gear Issue ?
2014 M7 / 6k miles. Earlier in the year I had GM align my shifter as it was occasionally popping out of second. Everything seemed pretty good for a while. Now I'm noticing some slight "crunch" when shifting into the 5th gear gate. No other gears feel this way and it's only the shifter box that feels odd. The car mechanically shifts fine, no issues there. Any idea what this could be?? FYI - car is not tracked but aggressively driven on weekends

With only 6K miles?? There really isn't any grinding noise when shifting, just the gearbox feeling slightly crunchy at the end of the shift movement. Should I just drive until it gets worse or try to explain / convince the dealership it might be an issue?
