Default C7 performance upgrade questions

So I've done some reading but wanted to get some personal opinions on performance mods on a Stingray. I recently sold my 2007 Z06 with about 550-575rwhp and am wanting to replace it with a C7. I know I definitely want an A8 transmission. I'm thinking of forced induction...who do you all recommend or have experience with? #1 priority would be driveability. I want it fast but I want it reliable. Are there any turbo kits available? A C7 would be my 4th Corvette but I've yet to still even drive one. So basically, what does everyone recommend?

I can only speak form personal opinion I have an ECS kit (8 psi), with American Racing Headers (no cats), and Alkycontrol kit I have NON NPP exhaust and I'm at 590hp at the wheels. I daily drive the car and I am extremely pleased with it. The car is very tame and drives just as it normally would stock. Only difference is its a tad more rumble from the exhaust from the catless LTs. I still get the SAME gas mileage that I got before (so long as I keep it below 3k rpm).

Now above that is an entirely different story, I've had quite a few fast cars prior to this one (600+ Hp GTO, 500+ Hp C6 Z06, 600+ HP CTSV)
This car is like none of them in regards to speed, as this is due to the centrifugal supercharger it just keeps wanting to pull more and more. I've had the car (in Mexico) at well over 150/160 mph, and was pinned in my seat. It was unlike anything I experienced in my prior cars. And in the same breath I can drive around in V4 mode on a cruise with the wife, go to the store etc.

This build I can honestly say is the best of both worlds for me and I would not change a thing about it. Thus far I have driven the car approx. 1500 miles with the supercharger (mix of highway and city) and I am very pleased with it.

AMP (Advanced Modern Performance) put a ECS kit on my friends 2015 C7 convertible. It makes between 630-640 RWHP with cats and stock headers on 93. The lastest upgrade he did was an alky kit and that got him about 40HP. In comparison a stock Z06 makes about 580 RWHP. Without the alky, it also made about 590.

Glad to hear you guys are enjoying your ECS Sc cars!

OP, feel free to call-PM-email us if you have any questions. These new DI engines just seem to love the superchargers! So much I'm even making a kit for my 2015 Silverado.

What octane gas and are you using 50/50 mix meth or 100%? if that's for 100% on 93 then your number seem low to me. SC, headers, and meth are the 700HP combo typically..

I'd be very pleased with anything near 550-600rwhp with very minimal differences from stock manners. I was going to save up another year for a Z06 but it looks like I can surpass those levels with supercharging. I've only ever had one forced induction car (turbo 2001 Camaro SS) and I loved it when it ran, so I think that's the route I wanna take when I get a C7. I haven't purchased one yet, but it'll be soon. What prices are you looking at to get everything bought and installed (including meth kit, etc)

And you get to keep warranty on a 650hp supercharged Z. Throw on an intake and you'll be around 700hp crank, the Halltech and AFE are putting out some crazy numbers on the Z.

Some guys prefer NA cars, so those guys might go for a cam with headers or a stroker.

Other guys that like FI cars like centris better and others turbos.

If a guy don't have a preference how to get there, a stock Z with a CAI is an all-time deal.

No. I'm not sure where you get that I want to buy a new Corvette. I just want to buy a C7 (used) which I can get for $50K, add $10K mods which comes out to $60K. If you or anyone else can get me a Z06 new or used in that price range, then by all means, point me in that direction.
