Default Considering boost...questions

So since my car has been broke 2/4 months I have had it the logical thing to do would be boost it, or I just get bad ideas when I can't drive it while basically the entire powertrain/driveline is getting repaired after what I believe to be a different dealers screw up. I do truly wish I could get a replacement but I doubt it.

So with that being said I am likely going to buy a buddies procharger kit. He has a 2014 and he called procharger and they said all I would need for my 2015 would be a the bracket piece for the water pump. Although I emailed them and I got this list back in reply.

DC004A-082 2.50" idler puller
SP87.406-1.87 1.87" spacer
CS08MI-120SS 8mm-1.25 x 120mm shch
CS10MI-25SS 10mm-1.5 x 25mm shcs
CS10MI-075SS 10mm-1.5x75mm shcs
AB029A-105 2015 C7 vette sub bracket
SP75.343-1.34 1.340" spacer
DM002I-016 idler shaft .290x.516x.900
DB435I-008 belt
3GUDR-005 2015 c7 vette dry sump crank pulley bag
3GUDR-006 2015 c7 vette wet sump crank pulley bag

So there in lies part of my question, what exactly do I need to run a kit from a 2014 on my 2015 z51.

Also who is the best tuner with a diablosport in the US, with some respect to price lol. I would like to retain my diablosport tuner just incase I remove everything and sell the vehicle at some point in time. I would like to keep a modest safe HP range as I intend to daily it and thoroughly enjoy it. Seems like most people go for 700whp? But I want to make sure I am going to someone who has done these plenty and knows what they're doing, I am in Nebraska.

Lastly what more would I need, sounds like I will need an LT4 pump for extra safety, meth injection, and a boost gauge. Anything else?

Thanks for the help!

That part list has things that apply to specific models, (dry sump/wet sump) so you don't need everything they listed. It is also my understanding from reading several thread, (some posts by ProCharger themselves) that the water pump bracket is indeed the only thing that's different. That part list may show parts for different optioned kits such as if you upgraded the pulley, etc. I do not remember if their kits are the same for dry vs wet sump. I believe the kits are actually different for my A&A kit in regards to dry vs wet sump cars.

ProCharger kit should come with a Diablosport tuner and a "canned tune" right out of the box. Since you will be planning on Meth though, it may be best for you to consider alternate tuning options. I am a fan of Diablosport tuner's for their simplicity, but to be honest I was unable to locate one of the big name tuners that could do what needed to be done via Diablo. All the big name tuners are using HP Tuners, or in some cases EFI Live. The reason is that the HP Tuner software allows access to more variables for change than the Diablo does.

700 seems to be the magic number for these cars. I would recommend you do 100% methanol rather than a 50/50 blend. This will allow them to run more aggressive timing and boost to get you to the 700 mark. It also provides higher octane to protect against detonation. A boost gauge is a good idea, so is a Wideband A/F gauge. The LT4 pump is a good safety to install, but isn't necessary at that power level, not to mention it is expensive at around 700-1000 bux! I am wrapping up my install which will also be around 700 RWHP and I chose to not do the LT4 pump but rather to do the LS7 lash cap on the LT1 pump. It's basically a "shim" for lack of a better term than over drives the stock pump for 20%+ more fuel. The lash cap is like $10, but to put it in you have to remove the pump anyway. Another good recommendation is to do headers when you do the kit. Look at sizes of 1 7/8" and larger sizes. I you decided to do 100% meth, then make sure to get catless headers as if you have cats and they get clogged, engine go boom! Hope it help!

I planned on 100% meth too. Main reason I want diablo is just if I resell it I can remove everything. If I go anything else I'll likely do a flex fuel setup. I believe I can get the lt4 pump for like $500 so it'd be extra safety. It'll also be running an f1 which is overkill but it'll last me whatever power I decide.

I guess I'll have to figure out exact differences in what's needed from wet sump to dry sump as mines a z51 and I don't think his is.

So his is a z51. So that means only thing I need is that bracket right?

Also can anybody else think of a big name tuner via a diablosport?

That should be all you need then. As I said earlier, there are NO big name tuners that use Diablo. The big guys don't like being restricted. It's unfortunate, I know.

This is correct. Diablo is for the minor tune stuff, headers cai, ect.. hp tuners or efi live is highly recommended

Meh. I've gone through two diffs a motor and a trans in this car being stock lol.

If I go anything beyond diablo it'll be with e85.... Would I still need meth with e85 and would I still be able to get 700?

So I guess if I can't find anybody for diablo who would be the go to person for a regular tuner?

I would do a dual meth kit just incase

And a tuner I would recommend is chuck at houston house of power, mike @ vengeance or Steven at lmr, also heard on the e85 stuff joe @cpr is really good on e85 c7 stuff

Me personally I'd go with mike @ vengeance

Where are you located? We do a lot of flex fuel cars and C7's especially. Feel free to look at our builds on here, Facebook, instagram, etc. I will gladly answer any question you have sir!

I'm in Nebraska. I'll have to figure out prices and stuff too, I obviously much rather stick to diablo just for resell but if no choice I'm sure selling it all will offset the cost a bit.

All gains aside I want e85 for the smell haha. I'll have to see what GM does with my motor and trans right now too. Not sure how comfortable I'd feel on a repaired motor.
