Default Everything needed for boost?

Just want to double check everything I need so I have an idea of cost and don't miss anything.

-Blower kit buying from a buddy complete kit. I will need to get the modified water pump bracket because his is a 14 mines a 15.
-I'm looking at devils own meth kit and run 100% meth. Will probably run a separate tank for meth instead of using my washer fluid.
-LT4 fuel pump for peace of mind.
-Looking at this wideband/boost control gauge, well have to have a bung installed on my exhaust for it =/ http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/x...cat=273&page=3
-And then obviously the tune.

It seems like 700whp is a reasonably safe number to shoot for, it'll be on a mustang dyno. Anything else I may need or should look into?

I was going to put cutouts on my car but I have a feeling it won't be any louder than having the valves open, hopefully the blower will satisfy my loudness need. And I am weary about cutting into my exhaust on this car, probably will resell and recoupe my losses. Is there any resell market for the stock headers and mid pipe stuff?

Thanks.

If you are doing the fuel pump, think about the injectors.

With a blower and meth you will be looking at high 500/low 600 range as a more reasonable HP#, especially on a Mustang dyno.

I have an ECS kit on a 416 and tuning it now on E85....I have a Z06 pump and a lash cap with Z06 injectors and having hell of a time getting the Z06 pump to work right. I would not recommend doing the pump and injectors unless you absolutely need it, and for a stock block with meth, you won't need it.

Is that an E85 issue or in general? I know of others that Vengeance has successfully tuned with increased cam lobe, lash cap, injectors and pump but on pump gas.

What issues are you having with the pump Higgs?

It does it on 93 also.

The issue is no rail pressure under boost/PE.

What I can't get my head around is that I "had" rail pressure at first and was losing tank pump pressure, which I expected and going to add a second fuel pump. However, one day, I have no rail pressure (works fine when no boost/no PE mode) and plenty of tank pump pressure (since the HPFP isn't taking more fuel from it).....

I don't know what changed. I have been reading threads about the 4 banger guys going through the same issue but havent found their solution.

That's strange, I'll ask around and see if I know anyone who has ran into this yet and I'll let you know if I do.

Well it'll be a f1 and the guy has pretty much the same setup but was making more power I believe. I can't imagine only upper 500's with headers blower meth and fuel pump lol.

Main reason I want fuel pump is i've heard of too many people losing motors due to lack of fuel.

Mustang Dynos generally read lower. Nothing wrong with that, it's just a tuning tool. What matters is how fast you run at the track.

I have lt4 pump and injectors with lash cap, 38% fuel lobe and dual meth kit. Tuned by vengeance and we had no issues.

You didn't list what blower, if using a restrictor so my previous post was using an Novi1500 with the 8 psi restrictor installed with no headers. Headers on that setup may give you 20 - 30hp more. I guess no restrictor you should be close to 700. A mustang dyno again reads on the conservative side.

a bad lash cap or the lash cap is the problem? maybe I will leave it off on the new one....replacing the pump on monday.

i doubt it is the lash cap, it ran fine and one day it crapped out.

Ha, yeah!

Doug@ECS or LMR or Vengeance or anyone else, have you run a 2015 Z06 HPFP in a 2014 Vette or only in a 2015?

The peak pulse table changed from 2014 to 2015 in all Vettes, base or Z06...

thanks!

Slesher had his done by VR and it's a '14. Theta also has a '14 I believe, but he did the pump/injectors himself. Not sure if VR did the retune.
