ESC Supercharger and meth kit
I would suspect with 8PSI plate you would be well over 600RWHP may even 650HP depending tune and meth. I did 550RHWP on an A6 with just SC and 7PSI plate.
1) Is it pretty standard that if you are going meth that you should run without the restrictor plate?
2) Will I be safe with 650 rwhp on stock everything else?
I run my car pretty hard but I do not trap it nor will I be doing a lot of 1st gear standing punches as I want to play it safe with rear end. I will however probably take it to the 1/4 miles once or twice just to see what it can do. Otherwise it will be a street car for fun and a few track days here and there.

To the OP's original question, YES you should be safe running around that WHP range. I would stay away from using Launch Control completely though once the car is supercharged on a stock transmission. If you do any hard starts, just be sure to keep RPMs low enough to stay out of the boost to remain safe on the transmission (which you can do on a centri SC, not so much on a roots style blower). The motor should have no problems in that whp range. It is usually not till over 700whp that you really need to start worrying about the motor, in which case the Pistons are really the only weak link. Those can be replaced by a set of Vengeance Forged drop in pistons. But not necessary until prob 750whp and up. Also, once you pass 700whp you would probably have to start worrying about fuel delivery. But as long as you are below 700, you should be fine on stock everything else. SHOULD be!
CoolShoesWalkin... to answer your 1st question (see above for the answer to your 2nd question), you can still run your car with the restrictor plate and the meth. The meth is being used for safety against a low octane and/or to advance timing in the tune for more hp. Doesn't hurt to run meth with lower boost. However, if you do remove the restrictor plate to obtain a higher boost level, you will def want the meth there so that you can advance the timing enough and have the octane to match the boost levels.
And to the last post....Yes! People have went up to 305's on 20's in the rear, some have even done 315's (although they stick out a bit). Just make sure you have the right offsets on the wheels you order. Ben @ WeaponX really knows his stuff in this area!
Hope this all was helpful!
If you want to get some serious tires, I recommend going with 18" wheels. You have way more options in that size.

Drove car home from ECS approximately 1.5 hour drive. All I can say is wow and WTF, I can't believe this car is that fast, its almost scary fast. Great job Chris and Doug at ECS, I will definitely refer you to my C7 friends.
