I am hearing some noises from my clutch. I am thinking this is throw out bearing. I do not hear it all the time. The shifts are smooth and no grinding in the transmission. Anyone have this problem?
If you put pressure on the clutch pedal then hear the noise, it is the throwout bearing, if you just hear the noise without pressure it could be in the trans.
Most standard transmissions make a little noise in neutral after they have some wear.

It happens when the clutch is engaged and let out.
If it has a bad bearing it will make noise when your foot has pressure on the clutch pedal.
If you take your foot completely off the pedal the noise should stop, if it stops then it could be a bad bearing.
If the noise stays about the same, while the clutch in or out (while the car is in N) then you might just be hearing the play in the transmission itself.
Manual transmissions do have play in the shaft not much on a new car but some.
If you suspect it is the bearing, take it to have it looked at, it should be under warranty

My '15 C7 with 12,000 miles is now doing the same thing. Happens intermittently when releasing the clutch (1st gear only).
Did you find a solution for yours?
Did you ever get this figured out? I have a 2014 and have an intermittent squeal-like noise when the clutch is being released. I don't sense any clutch slippage and it only happens occasionally.
It could be noisy bearings in the torque tube. Anytime the clutch pedal is released (not depressed), the drive shaft is spinning in the torque tube.
A noisy throw-out bearing only makes noise when the clutch pedal is depressed.

I just noticed my M7 starting to do this in 1st.. does anyone know what it is yet... i watched videos and its not the same noise as the bearing going out.. its a short high pitch chirp/squeak after releasing cluch in first and a lil in second.
