Default Headers-Help Please

I have a 2016 vert manual. Local speed shop (Pikes Peak Racing) had a 2015 Auto that they did some work to and was returning to stock to sell. I agreed to take there American Racing long tube headers and Corsa sport x pipe (NO Cats). They did the install and it has been a nightmare since. Car sounds great when running properly wich is about 20 miles out of the last 200 since the swap. Since they installed I have had it back to there shop twice. First time was for check engine light, service rear axle, service stabilatrak, and no rev match. They installed 02 sensor extenders and realized they that they had not seated a junction box properly causing the no rev match ect. worked great for about 10 miles and the check engine light came back on and it runs like poop at low rpms. If I WOT it wakes up and screams but otherwise will spit and sputter and is not happy. Any advice would be appreciated. My next step is for them to F with the computer or just say F it and have it put back to stock.

Default Header installs should have a dyno tune....

Pikes Peak is a great race shop.
The ARH dealer and local corvette shop in your area is:

Rocky Mountain Competitive Research
2275 Waynoka Road Units E&F
Colorado Springs, CO 80915
719-574-0625 (Mike Wendling)

These guys just installed ARH headers on my C7 40 days ago.
They also dyno tuned my C7 on their dyno.
They will fix your check engine light and tune your car properly at your altitude (6,500 ft).

Most likely the car needs a proper tune. Take the car to a reputable tuner in your area. I am sure there are many guys on this forum who can recommend a tuner for you. Just post the city you live in and you should get a few suggestions. Good luck.

I don't think you will get it back but one more trip to them if they don't get it correct tell them you want your money back 7 just for them to put it back to stock. Then find a real tuner not some half azz shop than no know much...

You didn't mention getting a tune, and if you didn't, this is most likely your problems. I don't understand the part where you said " I agreed to take their...". I'm guessing you bought them for a reduced price for returning your previous vehicle to stock. Either way, it is well known that long tube headers require a tune. You've already got one recommendation if Pikes Peak Racing can't get it right for you and of course there are options in Denver also.

I also recommend RMCR. I've been doing business with them for years. They haven't done any work on my C7 (yet) but have done lots of work on my C5 including installing and tuning the LS7.
