Results of my 1st outing on my base model C7 A6 at Corvette Magic
The track was horrible that day so almost everyone chose to run with the T/C ON---as did I----
There were approx. 100 Corvettes there and in our class 11.50-13,00 there were 44 cars----10 C7's in all and only 2 of them were 2015 Z06's
We made it to the final 4 and lost by a whisker---We were the only C7 left in the show after 2 rounds
The average ET that day on C7's was only 12.7--and we qualified at a 12.40---Just with a CAI--cat back and E85----
60" times were horrible due to using the TC otherwise excessive tire spin was the outcome-----
However if HP is measured by MPH we were happy with consistent 119-120 MPH runs !!! meaning we were making tons of HP but could not hook up on he bad track----
Can't wait to try again on a cooler day with better track conditions where I'm sure even my base model C7 would run in the 11's
