On my base 1LT there is nothing that says Launch Control. Just when I have it in track mode with the traction on, hold the brake and mash the gas. The RPM's will hold steady around 1800-2k rpm.
Also the same with the ZO6. Nothing up on the Dash or DIC indicating it either.

the text "Launch Control" does not display, sadly.
for the A6/8...
Start car, leave in default mode (whatever it started up in) Don't select anything else, leave in startup mode.
warm up to operating temp
Stop with tranny in "D" and steering wheel straight.
Select TRack mode
Press (tap) the selection button twice
If you don't have Mag Ride, is should say "Competitive..." on the DIC
Press brake firmer, mash gas pedal & hold. The RPM's should be in the mid 2000's. (If it doesn't get up to the 2400 range, you may have not pressed on the brake hard enough).
So I know it's there to use, but I've never seen anything come up that says 'launch control'
I assume it would come up like when it will say performance shift active?
Is there something I'm missing?
In an automatic, is there anything that comes up on the dash that says 'launch control' to know it's activated correctly?
well i just put M/Ts and new rims on my base stingray, they didnt have TPS's in stock,so i hadnt read anything negative on not running them so i had them put the tires on w/out them-WRONG-I was not able to turn off stabilitrack or activate launch mode,so it was pretty much a wasted day at the track, and wasted miles on my new DRs ,so unless im missing something and i went through every setting i could find, you cannot get the full power of your car w/out them-this is a 16 Stingray, everything worked the night before w/the stock rims on,i hope the low pressure of the M/Ts wont screw up anything else once i get the sensors in
