Hi guys I was wondering if you could post your sounds exhaust just adding by adding the over over the axle exhaust sound without having to go through changing out headers and the cats, x pipe, my last Corvette I did do hit long tube headers off road exhaust x-pipe b&b bullets and it sounded crazy loud! which is great however if I can get some similar type exhaust sound by just adding the tips BnB bullets for instance and see how that sounds so can y'all please post all your clips if you don't mind thanks.

I am running NO MUFFLERS and Flowmaster quad 4" tips made especially for the C7
True on my C5 and C6 I could not run it mufflerless as it was too annoying
However the C7 with 4 cats it is not tractorish at all without mufflers---I have stock ported exhaust manifolds
It is just louder than a C7 with the NPP opened---aggressive on start-up but quiets down greatly after it warms
While cruising on the freeway ?? Wonderful---No resonance can still hear the radio and the phone easily and can still talk to the passenger
When going to WOT---It sounds amazing----No flowmaster deep rumble tone--Sounds more like a Ferrari or hi dollar import supercar-- More of a throaty race car sound

Total cost------$150 installed
How did you make up the deference of exhaust tubing, if you remove stock mufflers? Also I'm looking for an aggressive sound while idling as well as WOT.

I took it to my local muffler shop---They made short transition pipes from where they cut the mufflers off ( just ahead of the AFM butterflies) to the inlets of the quad tips---Sort of a S bended pipe only about 12" long--Then welded on the Flowmaster dual quad 4" stainless tips-----It looks factory---Then bends were mild so no need to have mandrel bends done---The inlet pipes are 2 1/2"---
Took them only 1 hour and they look great--
PS: I sold the stocks mufflers for $350 and total cost of the tips and install was only $150----So I netted $200 on the deal----And bought my catch can !!!

one thing I don't understand is the valves. they are located in the 2 outer mufflers. I looked into mufflers after driving it and they were in the open position. also those tips have carbon or whatever on them which leads my to believe that the exhaust is mostly coming out of those mufflers. how do I get the two inner mufflers to activate? there are no valves (that I could see) in them...
also I love the aggressive sound upon startup, however once warmed up it is less loud. anyone have a fix.
thanks
John

The outer tips with the valves are open under Sport and Track mode. The inner ones will be used more when the valves are closed under ECO and Normal (or what ever the one is before Sport; I don't even use it so I forget the verbiage)
The NPP is vacuum operated so when 1st started there is NO vacuum so the valves are open---as soon as the engine starts and vacuum is present the vacuum CLOSES the valves-- Regardless where you have the NPP switch at start up--
