How to remove automatic shift knob?

How to remove automatic shift ****?

I knew the trick for the manual boot/****, but how in the heck do you remove the automatic shift **** from the shaft? I want to switch mine over to suede, but I can't figure it out. I can release the bezel from the console just fine.
