There was a recent subject where someone was working with a 325/25-20 rear tire.

But put each tire size on its spec wheel width:

285 rear tire, 65mm rear wheel offset
295 rear tire, 70mm rear wheel offset
305 rear tire, 75mm rear wheel offset
315 rear tire, 80mm rear wheel offset
325 rear tire, 85mm rear wheel offset

Take a look at the Pilot Sport Cup 2 in 315/30-19 rear tire size. That goes on a 19 x 11 79mm rear wheel
.

I have been running 315's on 18x11 offset 78, and 18x11 offset 79 with NO rubbing at all, I agree with your 80 offset number for 315's. What im trying to find out is there enough room in the rear of a z51 for a 19x11.5 wheel offset 85 ? With a 325 tire. At what offset do I run out of room? I know a 95 offset with a 345 is not fitting in wheel wells, what is the offset limit? As much as I want to run a 325/30/19 Hoosier back there, I don't want to spend two grand on rear wheels with any chance they will not fit/work. Thanks

We are in the same boat, but if those mt tires above will fit, I'll order a set of titanium bead locks or some forged aluminum ones for racing and keep a nice set of tires and wheels for the street, I got a battery and air impact so changing tires is not an issue

I know 315's fit, I'm not sure about 325's. I will have to see it to believe it, 335 or 345 never unless show only! Let's not forget how easy it is to break the rear inner fender lips right off!!

There's a minor problem with the 325 rear tire size at 85mm wheel offset.

A 325/30-19 tire has a more rounded shoulder and should be an easier tire fitment than a 325/25-20.

But a 325/25-20 has a wheel diameter with more suspension clearance.

The problem is choosing between the two. It is possible that some particular 19 x 12 85mm rear wheel will touch the suspension at full droop. But there is more tire choice in 325/30-19.

I like the Pilot Sport Cup 2 in 315/30-19 rear tire size and on a 19 x 11 79mm wheel. For various reasons, the front tire is a 295/30-19 on a 19 x 10.5 56mm wheel
.

It's all about STICKY not BIG.
Nitto NT01 in 315-30-20 bows a little on the stock rim but will totally transform the car. They stick way better than the PS2s on my '16 Z06 which are much bigger.
If you can find an 11" rim that has the stock offset to the outside it will work perfectly. The rim is widened to the inboard side only. There is plenty of room. I can't remember the offset numbers off the top of my head.

I'v been wondering if a 315 would fit a z51 as well... I'm currently running a nitto 305 40 18.. what exact tire size are you running on the 315? Is is a 30, 35 or 40? Thanks

P.s also is your car lowered at all or stock height

A 315 on a 78 offset does not stick out at ( will not break inner fender lips off) these are/ look out because it's picture day and I have a 3/8ths spacer on rear.

Here is same wheel without spacer on my new mag-ride car, my thoughts were to try a 335/30/18 back there but it's not worth the chance of damage, it does not take much to break off rear inner fender lips( they don't grow back)

How wide are your forgelines? 10-10.5-11-11.5, and very important what is offset of wheels? I'm guessing +80.
