Splash Guards
I have the f & r factory accessory splash guards for the '16 I am picking up at B G before Christmas. I have both a ratcheting 7mm box wrench and 6 pt short 1/4" drive socket w/ ratchet I can tote along. Once I remove the 7mm screw at the bottom of the O E trim, how difficult is it to pop the clips loose from the body that run alongside the moulding ? Tia, Mike
Once the screw is out it is very easy. I had some trim tools I bought for the job that I didn't even use. You can see which screw to remove using the replacement splash guards as a guide.

I have used the same ones for my 14,15 and now 2016. Just pull from the bottom and use your fingers not a tool that can hurt paint as each one of the tabs need a little force to pull out. F.Y.l there is two others screws next to the one you need to take out, it's the one closest to outside of car but it hurts nothing if you don't find the right one at first.

That's why I have them sitting on the desk in the den. Next to that is a small zip bag to carry them in. In fact, I'm going to pack them now while I think of it.
