Default Need some help with wheel fitment

I have a set of 305/35/19 nittos racing slicks do you think the 12 inch zo6 size wheels will look funny or stick out too much on a base stingray? ordering an extra set of wheels and wondering if I can go this size or should I just stick with stock width? thxs for responses, paul

Thxs fyreant (Typing your name right there i just now figured out what your screen name means, sometimes I'm a little blonde apparently, lol) I think im going to get another rear set of the new z06 repro's, I bought a set of 4 but figure if the tires aren't to noisy and ride ok ill probably run those most of the time anyway so ill just get 2 more...........

Side note: ya, not sure why it got moved? I thot it was in the right section since its certainly not a "general" everyday question? I think the only guys who can answer it are the racer guys who have tried using a different wheel size for racing....... but no big deal,

I actually try and put stuff where
1. the best guys who can answer it would be looking (some of the drag racing wheel stuff type guys don't ever look in the general section because a lot of the threads are looked at as soooooo general and some guys don't like looking thru threads about "just bought my new car" and the really simple questions like "i just changed my own oil and cant find a funnel small enuf to fill it thru the dipstick tube" lol. but no big deal, all is fine.
2. try and put stuff the right section, I put that thread in the forced induction section becaue most of those guys are racers and since its about adding a wider rim for slicks I know a lot of those guys have either thot about it or are doing it to get more grab at the track. but it works in the technical question area to so I see the mod's point on that. paul
