I installed a catless Borla X-pipe in hopes of gaining a little volume and slightly more aggressive exhaust note out of the stock NPP. It delivered. Under normal driving conditions in tour mode it is no louder than stock. the video makes it sound louder because the mic is right next to the exhaust. From in the cabin though there is no difference. Once you flip it into sport or track though it sounds demonic. Its louder but no drone and it just sounds mean. Anyway, let me know what you think!

Sounds awesome man! What Procharger set up did you go with: vertical/horizontal cooler and stock/race filter?
P1SC1 with the diablo tuner, vertical intercooler, race filter, helical gears and the standard surge valve. I love the setup, it ran side by side with a stock ZR1.

Just the procharger and X-pipe as far as power mods go. I absolutely love driving this car just how it sits.
Thanks for sharing. Strongly considering this modification.
Do it! I have another video at WOT through a few short shifts which I will upload tonight.
With the NPP its a great addition. Still quiet like a prius when you want it to be and quite mean sounding in sport/track mode. Make sure you ditch the cats to all of the sound you can. (No codes whatsoever when ditching the cats)
@97C5driver: Are you running the 2.75" X-pipe, I think it's Borla part no. 60547?
Been debating on livening up my NPP and your video may have tipped me over the edge.
That is it! It's definitely worth it and you can always add the axle back setup that retains the NPP at a later time which is what I plan on doing. I'll post another vid in a few minutes
