hello team!
can the Magnetic Ride Control Module/package be added later to a Z51 C7 or needs to be done on the factory in the beginning?
If can be added later, I believe a local performance shop can do it?
thank you!
thanks Bob, so I rather pay a bit extra in the beginning and get it up front with Magnetic Ride option. I am trying to buy a car this upcoming months and want to make the car immediately after that to get to about 700-800hp and Magnetic Ride would be a good feature to have once the C7 is bumped up to 800hp!

If you are looking, but haven't bought one, it would seem to make sense to find a Z51 with Magnetic ride. Taking 2015 for example, it shouldn't be too tough to find one since I believe that of the 11,090 Z51 Coupes sold, 5936 had Mag ride.
Does anyone know if the wiring harnesses are there? If so you could probably and the DSC Sport suspension.
The wiring that goes to the shocks isn't there. Whether the main harness has connectors for those I don't know, but I doubt it. Even if you could add the shocks and wiring, however, non mag ride cars probably don't have the software to control the shocks, and GM is unlikely to provide it. (People have tried to get the NPP control software from GM so they could add NPP exhaust to a car without it. GM said no.)

Agree on the software - that said some aftermarket companies are offering replacement electronic suspension controllers. If the wiring and harnesses were there it would be feasible to add.
