It's still a disaster.
The C6 T1 suspension kit includes stiffer springs while the C7 T1 suspension kit doesn't include stiffer springs. The T1-LP racing class might allow stiffer springs with the C7 T1 kit but then the T1 shocks wouldn't be correct for the stiffer springs.
Make your own kit with the T1 control arms, T1 swaybars, Z06 springs, and Penske 7500 single adjustable shocks. Also, you need to know if the T1 kit flashes the ECM for removal of the electronic shocks. Of course someone needs to confirm that the Z06 springs will install on the Stingray

easy for me as I do not have nor did I want the Mag Ride.. I knew I would be changing to a better track setup, and yes the springs swap over, but not needed.

Well, stiffer springs produce faster weight transfer (as load transfer) and that's more traction on the turn-in. The problem would be in racing a C7 with T1 against a C6 with T1 where the C6 would have a stiffer suspension. The next problem is how quick of a responding race car can your driver handle ?
Also, since a stiffer suspension works the tires harder then a stiffer suspension should have wider tires. Or look at it the other way around and very wide tires should have a stiffer suspension

The T1 kit is designed for FE3 Stingrays. If your car has the MR shocks, you will need to change the springs to FE3 manual trans springs and turn off the MR in the bcm.

Looking forward to reading some user reviews of this.
There's a GM Authority review here: http://gmauthority.com/blog/2015/12/...s-first-drive/
Anyone have an idea of the approx. # of labour hours should be charged for installation?

I don't have any idea as to labor cost, but since it's only changing four lower arms and four shocks, I'm sure someone with a Chilton's labor guide can answer. If you are considering the kit, I would add four adjustable sway bar endlinks, and T1 spring pucks. Next issue would be finding a shop that will align it, including rear caster.
