Hmm.... Touching the torque tube is an issue.....

I'd give them a call instead of emailing.

I personally would not have installed those with all those flaws. Looks like a trainee did that set. The asymmetry of the driver-to-passenger headers is .

I have bought and installed ARH headers before and their quality and installation has always been top-notch. Hope this isn't a sign of one of the only American-made header companies going down the toilet.

I was just checking a used pair of 17/8 ARH I bought and I see NO welds around the collectors, I do notice that your headers have bungs on them and the ones I have don't, I wonder what the deal is here.

Pic #2, just cut the tab off. The set I installed also touched there. I would also insulate the left header near the oil cooler.

I did also due to the heat to close for me but nothing more you can due but insulate. One guy did put up a piece of aluminum so thick and bolted it to the cooler. But again to me once that heat got to it really good seems to me it would be as hot are even more so.

Good to hear they took care of you. Its rare to see fitmit issues with ARH. Too bad it's the passenger side that one is kind of a bit#h to put in. I was actually very impressed with how well mine fit.

The headers didn't come from ARH directly so who knows if they got mixed up somewere with another set or not...I did purchase new from a vendor.

Well Nick called me personally..that says a lot how he is and superior customer service he does indeed have

I cut that ear off on pass side so that resolved the issue with that not a big deal and that ear does nothing

Nick said one header is older design collector and other is newer design .Been building with new design for over a year he said.
The unwelded collector is newer design. So he is sending me drivers side which is much the easier side to do.

In the end I will have one set of killer headers..I really like the fitment and design being a true merge and were the X pipe is located .

I suggest from my experience guys installing these use the ARH gaskets and ARP header studs for an LS since there is no listing in arp catalog for Gen V LT1.The header studs work perfect on GEN v and makes the install so much easier than bolts

ARH leader in customer service for sure!

I had my ARH headers ceramic coated inside and out to help with heat, really seems to make a difference, I do track my car so controlling heat was very important to me, Vengeance racing had that taken care of for me when we did the build

''I suggest from my experience guys installing these use the ARH gaskets''
why are you suggesting this? I see a lot of people using OEM gaskets. I would like to find out if ARH are better, since I'm also doing headers soon.
