If I decide to install long tube headders, will I be stuck with a CEL constantly? I am tempted to get a set, but everything I have read so far, seems to lead me to beleive a CEL is imminent.
Absolutely. I even tried the Kooks green cat y-pipe on my truck and they still set a code. The green catted y-pipe is (or was) advertised not to set codes.

How do others deal with this issue?
Thanks,
Dave
Hey Dave
No, a lot of us run LT's with no cat's. Just have your car tuned and have your tuner shut off (no report) the code.
