Default Installed line lock!

I read some where in the forum that some one installed line lock with remote control. So I decide to give it a try since entire job was less than $100 and easy to go back to stock if it didnt work. Result is amazing. There's night and day difference between cold and warmed up Toyo R888 and these tires warm up real fast after quick burn out. Only down side is that I got trac light on the dash for 1 or 2 drive cycle but it clears it self.. Probably stored wheel speed sensor codes .

I can't wait to hit the track next week!

Default Rsd line lock

I have one too installed but I hate the service stability track light that come on.

If anybody can help me bypass this will be great.

It doesn't really bother me because it goes away. I'm not going to do a burn out everyday anyway. I pulled the fuse out to prevent accidental usage. But I'm curious what the actual code is.

Do you just apply the brakes, push on, light them up and push off once you get them warm?

Yup
1. Hit brake pedal to apply line pressure.
2. Hit remote ON button to activate solenoid.
3. Release your foot off brake pedal. At this point, front brake is locked.
4. Burn out. I do them 2nd gear
5. Hit remote OFF to deactivate solenoid.

remote eliminates all messy wires running under the dash or drilling a hole to mount a toggle switch.

You can probably learn the remote buttons to two of the visor buttons, with no extra work

I believe that it may be possible, but I haven't tried it. I know it was able to be done on the C6 Z06's with the homelink system, so I would think it should work.

Found out did not need a line lock with my C7 2016. Shows on my tube how to do burn outs and is really neat. I love it..
