Newb question. Planning to go drag strip this Sunday for first time with C7
What rpm you guys launch your manual trans C7? Launch control or no?
I have315/30r/20 toyo r888, rear tire pressure at 28psi.
Fronts also toyo r888 pressure set at 32 psi.
Also how long should I do burn out?

All depends on track prep and temp of the track, not air temp.
In full sun after 1pm, back into water , pull out of water and burn out with out rolling forward until see smoke and let it roll forward letting off the gas. No trac control, no launch control. make sure tire pressure is 25lbs on the rear, that's fully heated tire pressure, not cold tire pressure. Pump fronts to max sidewall pressure which maybe is 44 lbs cold. Raise RPM to 3000, try and slip clutch a little at launch or try to launch with out spinning tires and getting to full throttle as soon as you feel the bite. No lift shift each shift, if you cannot than speed shift with seat back so you cannot push clutch to the floor ( you don't have to) Forget reaction time and MPH, 60ft times and ET are your only concern.

Good advise. I wish I read this before I went to the track today. Lol.
I did 12.41 with 1.9x 60ft. Launched at 3000rpm traction control off. These cars are not easy to launch..
Will try again in few weeks.
