Your observations are well taken. Smooth cornering skills will trump flat out speed more often than not. But I do get tired of having Vipers pull away from me on the straights. If I weren't getting such a deal on the SC, I'd probably spend the money elsewhere. But I just couldn't pass this one up. Thanks again.

I know that I may confront some heat issues, which I'll just have to address as best I can. Advice?
If you track your car regularly, my advice is don't put on a supercharger.

All those cars that are stock and modded that run those numbers are probably going to blow up soon.
first, if you look at little more closely you will find that 99.9% of those cars are indeed running meth.
second, there have indeed been a number of blown or damaged engines from lack of fueling.

I have become VERY intimate with the DI fuel system and it's capabilities with E85, meth, and boost. I've tuned 4 or 5 including my own with different setups....I have a pretty good feel for where you can push it.

If you are running 700rwhp with no meth then you are on borrowed time. Your low pressure pump is not holding commanded pressure, it is dropping quickly under boost....maybe some people are ok with that, not me, I want what I command. Your injectors are probably spraying into an open exhaust valve in order to have enough time to complete injection but going out the exhaust valve is not contributing to combustion....lean in the cylinder but correct in the exhaust...do you think that's good? Your injectors are probably well over 10-15ms pulse width when anything over 6ms creates fuel puddling issues on the piston, if you're ok with bonafide preignition, then go for it.

My car is being demodified as we speak. It put down ~950rwhp and without meth I was out of fuel around 4000 rpm. And I mean OUT of fuel, not "running out." Demodified and being sold.....Z06 time.

Lol...that's what I said when I bought my C7. Lower, tint and wheels. I didn't last two months before the warranty was void.
