Simple K&N Question
I posted this in the General section but thought I might get more input here.
I have used the K&N air filters in other cars.
As re the C7 standard engine, there are no reasons to not use their filter.
Right?
This is about the drop in replacement - not the cold air system.
And, Please, I'm not asking performance questions or for opinions as re K&N's value vs. a standard air filter; just looking for any potential adverse issues with engine management.

Very good question, there may be some question as to whether or not it will cause warranty issues due to the higher air flow. The computer can tell if you've swapped intakes but I don't know if that extends to just a filter. I would call your local dealer to ask what the consequences are, probably none but it doesn't hurt to ask.
