Default Borla ATAK observation

I have the Borla ATAK on my auto Z51. The exhaust sounds great. However, when the car goes in and out of V4 to V8 mode I can hear the valves in the exhaust opening and closing. It sounds link a metallic "clink".

Also, no check engine lights

Is this normal???

Thanks
Al

I have a '15 Z51 A8 with the Borla ATAK, but I have installed a Diablo Tune (DiabLew Tune, actually) and the V4/V8 function is disabled. Problem solved!

I have same but with stick - yes, I can hear the valves (sometimes) moving when it goes between mode, however, I have heard in the stock NPP as well.

I done generally run in anything but Sport or Track and I've set the exhaust mode to Track full time - however - I recently pulled fuse 42 to keep all valves open at low RPMs and I really like that!

I disabled the v4 mode with my Diablo Tuner, pulled fuse #41 and I still hear the valves opening and closing!!!

Am I hearing the (rear) NPP valves or the (forward) v4/v8 valves???

Thanks
