Can't find anything on youtube or anywhere else on changing the rear rotors (plenty available on changing the front) on my 2015 C7 Z51. I'm guessing due to the separate parking brake on the rears the procedure might be a bit different than changing out the front rotors.

Try the C-5 or C-5 forums. The parking brake shoe is a PITA.
Will do. I wonder if even with the parking brake released and the cable disconnected if the parking brake shoes have to be compressed to fit on the new rotor?

Probably not- but the shoe can hang up removal of the old rotor.
I replaced the rear rotors on my C7 2015 Z51 without a problem. Unscrew the parking brake cable and screw it back into the new rotor. Bought my GM rotors on line for less than $100 each.
