Default Automated ABS brake bleed didn't fix soft pedal

Long story short I got air in my abs module after adding z06 brakes

I acquired a snap on tool that can do an abs bleed. I followed the steps to the T. Still had a soft pedal. Only thing I didn't do was used a pressurized bleeder.

I then filled up my motive pressure bleeder and made sure there was pressure and constant fluid and repeated the bleed with no luck.

I tried again with above steps and made sure both bleeder valves were open on each caliper when they needed to be open. Brake pedal is really firm during test. I start the car, apply brakes and almost to the floor. I also hear a noise coming by the reservoir when the brakes are applied. A hissing noise.

I checked all the lines and fittings to verify everything was snug. I'm stumped at this point.

How many times did you bleed each caliper? I think I had to do mine 4 times before the pedal felt OK.

Ive bled the calipers probably 4 times before I accepted there was air in abs module. Then I did abs bleed about 4 times. I've gone through a crap ton of fluid.

Took mine to the dealer this morning and had them do my ABS. I had them do the master cylinder too, and mine are good to go now.

Good news. I manually bled every bleeder this evening with a pressure bleeder (very little pressure) almost a gravity feed. I found some air (I think) in the front left caliper inside bleeder.

My pedal feels pretty firm now. I believe that was my issue. I will put wheels on it and take it for a spin and see.

Amazing what just a little air will do.

Not even convinced I needed an abs bleed! But hopefully I'm good to go. I'll put wheels on tomorrow and give it a shot.
