This board probably has more knowledgeable people on it then any other board so I was hoping if someone could tell me why a new (off the lot) vehicle would have specks in the windshield that makes it extremely difficult to drive in the morning sun. Note -This is not my Z51 Corvette windshield. My Corvette has been perfect!
Hoping someone with knowledge on the manufacturing process of windshields could help me understand the cause of this issue. This windshield is perfectly clean even if it does not look like it. The specks appear when driving in the morning sun.
Just a WAG but maybe tiny air bubbles were trapped during glass manufacture? Anyhow it would be a warranty fix IMO.
Thanks for your comment. I will not mention the name of the company but the Fix Or Repair Daily company indicated that this is normal for all their windshields. They must think

My 2016 also had specks in the windshield, almost like it was sandblasted. Given the fact my car was shipped wrapped directly from Bowling Green to my dealer I thought it was odd but decided to live with it.
Two weeks ago I had the windshield replaced due to a large crack from a rock hit. The new windshield is perfect, no specks or blemishes.
