Default Nitrous with Diablo tune?

I plan to buy the NX kit and run a conservative 50hp jet. Now what I was concerned with is im guessing the diablo tune I have advanced the timing. From what I understand advanced timing and nitrous don't go well. Should I be concerned?

you will need to lower the timing..

I wouldn't advance the timing any more than the preset tunes already do anyway really.. timing is already jacked up pretty good compared to stock.. and I usually have to lower it a bit in my custom tunes to reduce/eliminate knock retard people have at WOT..

so I would just keep the timing settings as they are with the preset tune, don't raise it higher.. and then you'll need to actually lower the timing by -2 to -3 degrees for a 50hp wet shot..

I do not have the ability to change the timing because I am not a tuner. My car is stock besides a handheld Diablo tuner which I uploaded a program that's pre set. I'm guessing the diablo tune advanced the timing. I should contact them to find out at what degree they set the timing and then re search if its safe. Thank you for the help. Im a newbie at this.

you'd use the programmer and select to Modify the tune, and you can lower the timing.

Yes, as Lew mentioned, the devices we offer allow you to adjust timing at WOT in 3 RPM ranges, I'd recommend pulling a little bit for use with that 50 shot.

BTW, N2O is like crack. That 50 shot will simply leave you fiending for more

Enjoy!
