Flex plate issues
This issue has been previously addressed, but considerable time has since
passed and I would appreciate any updates that forum members may
provide. My car is an early build (819) 6A z51. I have never tracked or
raced the car, and I am not an aggressive driver. After a club run two
weeks ago the car developed the typical bucket of bolts rattle (and
getting worse) that is most noticeable when the car is in neutral. From
my research it appears to be the flex plate, and it is scheduled to be
looked at next week. The car is not a daily driver and is low miliage
(8500 miles)
I pose the following questions:
1. It is now 3 years since the c7 was introduced. How may of you
with either 14's or 15's have had this problem.
2. How have your cars been driven (aggressive, not aggressive, etc.
3. How many miles were on your car with it developed this problem.
I would appreciate any responses from forum members.
