Default C7 Z51 check steering code

Has anybody had an issue with a code stating (service power steering) while running their car hard out on the track. I only have 2800 miles on it and am taking it into the dealer under warranty, but just concerned that after only 2800 miles I need to service the power steering.

Yes, there have been reports.

See Chevy Service Bulletin for installation of a cooling duct:

Did the warning message go away after the engine was turned off and the car cooled down for several hours? If so the duct may be the answer to your problem. If not you probably have a more serious issue.

yes, I have not seen the code reappear with street use. It will be back on track in another week so I wanted to know if I needed dealer to check it out. I'll check out this cooling duct.
Thanks much
