None of the dealers around here have the tools to do the rear caster, CH-47690 (angle gage) and CH-47690-10 (bracket/adaptor). The tools seem to run about $450, gage about $240 off ebay and adaptor around $180, I guess from GM. I ain't crazy about laying out that much for a tool I might use a couple of time but I would chip in fifty bucks to get a communal tool. Anyone interested?

I'll make a suggestion. Down load an angle ap on your phone, free. Get some wood dowels that fit in the two holes in the rear knuckles. Place the flat even side of your phone against the dowels. You can get the numbers that way. You want 0 to positive numbers. The upper rear ball joint should be leaning back NOT forward of the lower. Good luck many have done this I read it here more than a year and a half ago!
I have the gm brkt. and gauge we use it all the time at our shop so I'm not sending it around for other use, sorry

First of all, your numbers are a little dyslexic - the part# should be 47960.
I have two CH-47960 Digital Angle Gauges, one CH-47960-10 adapter, and one adapter made by forum member wstaab. I had one set, but got another when I saw it for a good price on eBay, and got it to pass on to another forum member.
You've reminded me that I have it out in the garage!!
So....if you're interested in getting one of my sets in order to start your loaner service, I'll sell one of the Digital Angle Gauges along with the adapter made by wstaab for $300+$15 shipping.
