AFM Valve Delete Module update
I want to give a quick update to those that have had interest in the AFM modules I developed. The Revision 01 modules some have been waiting for have been on my 2016 Camaro SS all weekend and have been operating flawlessly. Not a single CEL since they were installed. It enters/exits V4 mode without issue.
I will be verifying them on a C7 this coming Friday or Saturday (have a work trip earlier in the week). Once that is complete I will be prepared to start shipping them the following week. Edgyvette is handling the sales on Corvette Forum. I can address any technical questions.
I have enough components for 20 kits to ship out to end customers right now. Moving forward the PCBs will be ordered with the electronic components mounted by the fab house. This will save me significant time in assembling the kits. The connector assemblies will still be done by me as well as the final assembly and test. I have a special test fixture setup that mimics the CCM so I can see instantly if the module is working as expected before it ships.
The next batch of units should be available to ship in about 3 weeks. I will be ordering additional PCBAs tomorrow to ensure there is minimal gaps in being able to ship units.
