Congrats on the new ride. Love the looks of the GS and being lighter and N/A over the Z06. With that said, you have about 20,000 different choices for power and sound. And about 25,000 opinions to go with them.

I would start searching this section with the "Search" button and start learning. There are hundreds of threads on: CAI, TB, ported intakes, ported stock exhaust manifolds, ARH mids, Diablo, DiabLew, Vitennese Controller, short shifters, X-pipes, exhaust, NPP, muffler delete, ect...

The good news is there are some nice gains to be had with the new LT1. Not as easy as with the LS3 or LS7, but some good choices.

And don't forget you have a performance timer built in. So you can run 40-100 MPH sprints all day long and measure your improvements.

I was pretty bored with the stock LT1. $4,000 later and it barks loud and runs like a scolded dog

anything that adds power can possibly void warranty, get a X Pipe and have fun, its really all you need until you want to go all in
