Default Z51 oil temp sender

Can anyone tell me where the sender is for the oil temp on a 16 Z51? The reason I ask is that my normal oil temp seems a little low if it is being taken in the pan, average 190.

On a boat I own the sender was after the cooler and filter, normal temp was 165, adding a sender to the pan showed 200.

I'm wondering if the sender is after the cooler, thanks for the help.

The oil temp sender, for the Z51 dry sump system, is located near the bottom of the reservoir oil tank behind the passenger fender.

Thanks for the info, that answers why the temp seems a little low. Since you seem familiar with the Z51 oil system can you give a quick sequence the oil follows from the pan to the main feed oil galley? Wondering where the cooler is in plumbing. Thanks again for the help.

Pump to oil-cooler (oil-to-water), then to oil filter, then to bearings. Scavanger pump emptys the sump into the oil reservoir tank (in passenger fender area). Main pump draws oil from bottom of the reservoir tank.

The oil cooler is not oil-to-water.

It is oil-to-water.....see the water/coolant lines items #17 and #6. The oil flows in and out at the gasket item #3. The oil to coolant heat exchanger is item #13.
