Default Akrapovic Install. . .Please help!

I got up this morning to install my Akrapovic Slip-On Exhaust only to notice something strange after pulling off my existing mufflers. The Akrapovic seems to have FOUR spots to mount just TWO exhaust valve servos from my stock exhaust. I have a 2016 Z06 that I believe has the NPP exhaust as standard. The instructions for the Akrapovic states that the stock NPP exhaust has 4 exhaust valve servos.

Please enlighten me. What am I missing? Did I order the wrong exhaust from Akrapovic???

Here is a picture of the stock mufflers and a picture of the Akrapovic. I've circled the extra spot on the Akrapovic that doesn't exist on the stock setup.

I helped a buddy install one of these and we ran into the same situation. What follows is my recollection, hold me to none of it, but:

Basically the VERY early (if not pre-production) cars had two sets of valves. Later production Zs, even in 2015, do not. They only have the second (muffer) set. So Akrapovic built their system to fit the early cars and it can still be used on later cars, you just ignore the forward valves and leave them in the "always open" position. In other words:

You leave the forward set unused. They are, I believe, AFM valves that are flaps with little holes to speed up the air velocity and improve the sound when the car is running in V4 mode. You don't have them in your setup, you never had them, you don't care, and you just leave them disconnected.

Since the flap there defaults to the "wide open" setting, there's no real harm. I'd prefer they weren't there at all, but then they'd have to make a different setup for the very early cars that did have them.

Frankly, for the price, I think they should have better instructions. And maybe a small man that pops out of the box and does the install.

Yeah, for 4 grand, you'd think they at least be able to include a supplement with their instructions. Geez. Better yet, how about not include the extra exhaust servos!

Thanks for your post. I'm going to install as is.
