Trunk does not open
Just had a dead battery and now the fob will not open the trunk. After jumping it the display told me the trunk was not closed even though it was closed. I now have to manually open it with the key.
Warranty expired 12/13/16 so no warranty any suggestions before I take it to the dealer next week?

Disconnect battery for about 10 minutes (negative cable), reconnect & let computers reboot, most likely will do the trick. I would also suggest a new battery, the C7 does not like low battery voltages.

Do you know how hard it is to change out the battery myself?
Concerned with the little board positive hooks up to and any other issues might run into?
