Default TPMS necessary for drag wheels?

About to mount my drag radials on my 18" wheels, and I didn't the TPMS to go with. Will this interfere with anything while driving around? I don't mind having a light on the dash for TPMS, I just don't want there to be any adverse affects while driving to the track/on track.

not sure if this matters but when mine did not have them I was unable to click the button twice in track mode and go to the track mode settings. I will be putting them in when I put on my new non run flat front tires to go with the rear drag radials.

No problems....other than the dash light.

Why not add the sensors before you mount them? Seems a bit like false economy to save a couple of hundred bucks on a safety feature for a $100,000 car.

They're also really easy to manage, the car figures out the sensor change if you let it sit for 20 minutes. No magic required.

No issue other than the light.
You can click the center button on the console 6 times and the light will go out. The bad is you need to do this every time the car is started.
I only do this to and from the track.
When I swap back to the street tires, the TPMS features starts to work after about a mile of driving.

I'll literally only have the drag radials on going to and from the track, not too worried about just a light. Thanks for the insight guys.
