Hello can any of you Tech guys help or answer these questions Please?
Well I purchased a 2014 Chevy Corvette C7 Convertible with 4k miles from the dealers auction about a month ago. The vehicle wouldn't start so I replaced the ECM and BCM. I had no problems reflashing the ECM with my ToughBook & MDI 2, but the BCM on the other hand is giving me nothing but issues, my MDI 2 will not communicate with the bcm nor can I reprogram transmitter keys. Question True or False once a transmitter key is programmed can it be reprogrammed and reused??? What are the steps or process to reflashing a BCM??? Any Good advice would be Greatly Appreciated...
My MDI 2 will only flash up to 2013. I cannot access 2014 and up. The key fobs can be reused because you are actually programming the car to it, not the other way around.

Thanks for the quick reply, but let me clarify I'm trying to reprogram the original transmitter key fobs that were programmed to the original ECM and BCM, and I am having issues doing so... In regards to your MDI 2 you shouldn't have any trouble accessing 2014+ software unless you're referring to a Tech 2 programmer...
Keys can be programmed no limit on times.
For BCM program. Start with ignition in OFF POSTION and key in key pocket.
After that the immobilizer needs to programmed too.
Then go back and select BCM configuration and set up.
If you still can't communicate with it you def need to start checking power , grounds and data wires.
